It's week 47 of my personal photography project and this week's theme is "get high" in that your point of view is high above your subject. This is a technique that I use quite often at the shelter especially with pitties, pit mixes and black dogs as it can really soften their look (even more so if I can get them to pant because then it looks like a big grin!) and those pups need all the help they can get to be adopted. Photographing from above is how we see our dogs. We're always looking down on them so I've heard this called the "mommy shot".
