I never fully appreciated the concept of a photographer's muse until I met Oliver. I think he's mine! This is the second time I've photographed him in my Carrollton, Texas studio and the camera loves him! He's adorable, well trained (thank you Jessica!) and knows how to work the camera and offer delightful behaviors that are just magical (example, we didn't ask him to put his paw on the stuffed animal, he just offered it...and magic!). So without further ado, we hope you enjoy this glimpse into Oliver's "Night Before Christmas".

This is the year. Tonight is the night. Christmas Eve is the night that Oliver is determined to see Santa Claus! He patiently sits by the window looking his red sleigh and reindeer in the sky...
After what seemed like an eternity without a sighting, Oliver decides that reading a book might help the time pass a bit quicker. What to read? Why "The Night Before Christmas" of course!
Oliver is starting to think it's going to be a long night so he gets comfortable in his bed with his favorite puppy, Buddy, to help keep him company while he waits for Santa.
So tired...Oliver thinks he'll close just one eye to rest and keep the other one open for Santa.
Finally Oliver gave in and closed his eyes; he couldn't stay awake any longer. When he awoke in the morning he found a present under the tree from Santa. Missed him again! Oh well, there's always next year!
