DFW Metroplex Editorial Photography

Historically, editorial photography referred to images that accompanied an article in a publication but that has changed in recent years given the rise of the Internet and widespread popularity of social media for not only personal use but also advertising and branding. 

What characterizes editorial photography is its storytelling element. It’s not just photographing the person or object in front of the camera, but also what’s around them. The images need to spark a thought, evoke a feeling, or convey a concept. 

With research about you and your needs, learning how you may have been portrayed in images in the past so I can find a new way to represent you and your story, and detailed planning with mood boards, location scouting, and a collaborative shot list, I use classic lighting and unique camera angles to create one-of-a-kind images to authentically represent you.
