Cinematic

It's week 43 of my personal photography project and the subject is "cinematic". I noodled on this one for quite a while trying to figure out how to deliver on the topic with pet photography. We were given the hints of "relating to motion pictures" and "having qualities characteristic of motion pictures" but I was stumped so changed gears and started editing a recent session of a gentleman and his dog at Grapevine Lake in Grapevine, Texas and soon realized that I had an image worthy of the topic.

The sunrise was gorgeous on the lake and we could see the planes landing at Dallas - Fort Worth airport, which was especially meaningful for this pilot instructor. Just as I started photographing a boat went by creating ripples in the water and ducks swam into the frame; it all came together like a movie scene. "Action! Cue the plane. Now the boat. Send in the ducks. Cut!"

Now it's time to segue to the other pet photographers in this week's challenge starting with I Got the Shot Photography, Elaine Tweedy, serving Northeastern PA and surrounding areas and then continue clicking on the link at the bottom of each post to see everyone's take on the cinematic theme.
