Tracy Allard of Penny Whistle Photography joins prestigious group as a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP). 

Coppell, TX April 2018 – Tracy Allard, CPP of Penny Whistle Photography in Coppell, Texas has earned the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

Allard earned this designation after completing an intensive program that measures her artistic and technical competence. Professional Photographers of America currently recognizes fewer than 2,500 CPPs nationwide.

 “It was important to me to achieve this professional certification when I started Penny Whistle Photography three years ago. The process is arduous but ultimately makes you a better photographer and I want my clients to know that I take my professional seriously and strive to stay current with new equipment and techniques as part of my continuing education to maintain my credentials.”

This is the second professional certification Allard has earned since retiring from her corporate sales career in 2014; she also earned her Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge and Skills Assessed (CPDT-KSA) credential in 2016 which she puts to use as the dog trainer at Camp Bow Wow in Coppell.

Allard is a 16-year resident of Coppell where she lives with her husband, 3 rescue dogs and a cat.  In 2012 she led the effort to build what is now the “Waggin’ Tails Dog Park” in the city and donates much of her time with local shelters and rescue groups. 

Professional Photographers of America (PPA.com/CPP) is the leading body for certifying imaging professionals.  CPPs must complete a written examination, finish an image evaluation and adhere to a strict code of conduct.  Certification must be renewed on a periodic basis, ensuring continued confidence in the professionalism of Certified Professional Photographers.
