Family portraits should always include your pets; if you consider them part of your family, then so do I! So when this Fort Worth family contacted me for family portraits, including their 4 dogs, I said "yep, no problem". They were dubious, and I'm not going to lie, it did take a bit of Photoshop magic to get 7 people and 4 dogs to all look at the camera at the same time, but we got there in the end and everyone was thrilled with the resulting images. 

This family was a delight and it was fun getting to know them as this niece wanted a picture with her aunt and the sisters wanted a picture with one another, etc. We were blessed with a gorgeous day for photographing along the Trinity River and even the dogs got in on the action. I don't charge extra for the inclusion of pets in your family portrait and while it might take a few minutes longer to capture that grand image, it's always worth it.
