High Key Kittens

The more I photograph in the studio, the more I like the upbeat mood of a high-key lighting set up (in technical terms, it has a low ratio of light to shadow, in easier to understand terms - it has little to no shadow), which is fortunate because the theme for Week 27 of the Pet Photography 52 Week Challenge is "high key". Without further ado, I'd like to introduce you to a kindle of rescue kittens recently available for adoption from Coppell Humane Society, for whom I offer my services free of charge so the animals in their care can have the best chance at a successful adoption. The differently colored items are added to the images as memory devices, to help people looking at potentially hundreds of kittens on the web, remember THAT particular kitten with the blue yarn or red and yellow crinkle ball.

PS: all have been adopted save for Saki and Pixie, who are still looking for their forever homes!

Laverne and Shirley (not really, it's Panda and Pixie)

According to their foster mom, these two are as thick as thieves so she asked to have them photographed together and we lucked out with with their little Laverne and Shirley "Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!" two-step!
