Meghan and Christian are young, hip (he's a bass player in rock band, it doesn't get any hipper than that!) and live in downtown Dallas so it was only natural that we photographed their family in the trendy neighborhood of the Bishop Arts District in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, TX. There are some really great murals throughout the area but when they said they wanted to dress up for their session (I'll admit to doing a little happy dance in my office when I heard that), I knew just the mural that would do this couple and their monochromatic dogs, Morty and Lacy, justice; the black and white #cactex mural by artist W. Heron. I also knew this session was the perfect one for this week's theme in the Pet Photography 52 week challenge, "urban".

I adore this couple and their dogs so was thrilled to hear that just a few weeks after this session, Christian popped the question and of course Meghan said "yes"; the happy couple will be wed later this year!
Now on to Pet Love Photography, serving Greater Cincinnati, the San Francisco Bay Area, and destinations nationwide to see what they have to share for this week's theme of "urban" and then continue clicking on the link at the bottom of each post for an around-the-world tour of urban pet photography!
