On the Job

It's week 33 of my personal photography project and the subject is "architectural", which I have to admit, left me scratching my head a bit until I remembered some concrete pipes on a construction site near my home. I had all kinds of ideas of posing Ginger in them, on them, etc. Well, best laid plans and all that...apparently they've been put into the ground since the last time I saw them! Oh well, we still had fun roaming around the site on a deserted Sunday afternoon and finding architectural things to pose her in front of and on. For Ginger, it was pure bliss; off leash roaming in a safe area, exploring with the occasional "vogue pose" every now and then and snacks (I never leave home for a pet portrait session without my treat bag!).

Ginger on the Job

Stacks of building materials

We found an old building frame

Construction stuff with a plant in the background

Lots of concrete blocks to climb on!

Looking for shade underneath a hopper

That's a pretty big tongue, time to go home!

This was a fun outing with Ginger, although the heat and humidity cut it a bit short (you'll notice her tongue getting larger and larger in each image!). I'm lucky that I have such a great poser in Ginger, she's always up for a field trip with me, loves the car and has a great stay! All I need to do is point to something and she happily jumps up on it.

There's more architectural images to be viewed starting with Nancy at Nancy Kieffer Photography serving Central New York, the Adirondacks and beyond and continue clicking on the link at the bottom of each post for an around-the-world tour incorporating architectural elements with pet photography.
