It's October 1, 2020 and today is Rooney's birthday! Who's Rooney? Well, if you haven't been following along on my blog, Rooney is our border collie puppy and he turns one year old today so of course we had to celebrate with a puppy cake smash session in my Carrollton studio. 

I ordered a carob doggie birthday cake from Three Dog Bakery in Plano, Texas (they also have locations in Flower Mound and Alliance). I knew them by reputation but had never been to the shop. It was more than just a bakery, it was also a charming pet supply store with leashes, toys, treats and more. Definitely worth a trip to spoil your own pooch!

Rooney's been a hoot to have around and gives me a run for my money on a daily basis, but I wouldn't have it any other way. That being said, I am sooo ready for the "terrible teens" to be over with! C'mon second birthday!!! We love him to pieces and can't wait to see the man he grows into be.
