Patsy is a super model. Full stop. It was impossible to take a bad picture of this cutie pie and her beautiful mom, Toni. We talked about a number of locations; the Canals at Las Colinas, the textured quaintness of old town Carrollton, but ultimately Toni decided on a park setting as she specifically requested a foot bridge in some her images so we decided on Grapevine Springs Park in Coppell, Texas. It's large and has a wooden footbridge along with loads of other settings and textures in and around the Coppel Senior Center building. We had beautiful weather for the session and captured so many terrific images so enjoy a select few below!

Grapevine Springs Park offers large trees, open grassy areas, natural paths, and a quaint bridge over a creek.. That combination works well for any kind of portrait session, from pet, pet and owner, and family portraits because we can move around and create different looks within a short walking distance.
The size of the park is manageable, is manageable so you don’t have to hike a mile in dress shoes, but large enough that you won't be fighting heavy foot traffic. The Coppell Senior Center is on the grounds of the park and offers several features that I often incorporate into sessions such as low stone walls, steps, bistro seating and glass and metal elements. Public bathrooms make outfit changes and makeup and hair touch ups a breeze.
