Responsible dog breeding, when done right, is a major commitment of not only time, but also of money. 

It's a labor of love, but it's also a business. Running a quality breeding program isn't cheap. The breeders I work with devote significant time and financial resources into the dogs in their programs and in many cases, they are also beloved family members. 

Quality imagery for a website and marketing purposes sets you apart and draws attention to your program's value while also educating potential puppy parents as to why they should select one of your puppies.

Professional photos can help you build your brand. When you use consistent and high-quality photos across your website, social media, and marketing materials, it helps create a professional and trustworthy image for your business.

As a Certified Professional Photographer and retired Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge and Skills Assessed (CPDT-KSA), I know how to create a safe environment for your puppies and use lighting, posing and editing of your final images to create stunning results to set your program apart. 

I'll design your session based on your input and needs, whether we're matching your kennel colors, litter theme or celebrating a holiday that coincides with their birth. A multitude of props are available to you to use at no cost during your session. 

I also encourage you to take advantage of having a professional headshot with your puppies made at the same time, I offer this for free for first-time clients.

Pricing - What Your Puppy Litter Session Includes

  • Studio session with your choice of background / scene to match your kennel colors or the litter theme
  • Upon your arrival, we'll transfer the puppies from your car to a pee pad lined pen to allow them to relax and eliminate for a few minutes before we try taking any pictures 
  • I deliver two (2) retouched individual images for each puppy, one full body to best show off conformation and any special markings, and another personality-filled headshot as well as a group image (note: we TAKE dozens of pictures, from which I select the best ones for retouching and delivery) along with one group image
  • You’ll receive two (2) versions of each image file mentioned above: a retouched image file without watermark for use on your website, and a companion watermarked web-resolution version of the same image file appropriate for social media sharing
  • The package includes the use of any props I have at the studio (ribbons, flowers, bow ties, crates, etc.), but you’re always welcome to bring your own
  • We’ll discuss if you want them naked, or with identifying elements such as ribbons, flowers, bowties; the individual puppy picture files will be labeled with their names for ease of organization 
  • I suggest one (1) puppy wrangler for every 2-3 puppies to pull off the group image, usually my breeder clients bring along a friend or two to help withj the whole process, I have assistants that can be brought in if needed
  • For first time breeders visiting the studio, I include a free headshot of you holding puppies from the litter so you can have it for future marketing purposes, so plan to change into a blouse that you would want to be photographed in
  • 350 (additional image files may be purchased for 45 each)

Puppy Newborn Portraits

If you elect to do so, I offer the option to extend your puppy litter photography session to include some puppy newborn images. There's nothing cuter than a swaddled pup cuddling his teddy bear, or a little girl with a bow in her hair fast asleep. 

Creative content like these images can really set your breeding program apart and help spark interest in your puppies. In addition to the health investments you make, it demonstrates that this is truly a passion for you and that you want to show the world how much you love what you do.

Pricing - What Your Puppy Litter Newborn Session Includes

  • Use of all newborn props and backdrops (you're welcome to bring your own)
  • Session time is not limited as puppies do not fall asleep on a timetable
  • This is a bonus add-on to your puppy litter session, contact me for special pricing

Adult Breeding Dog Portraits

The foundation of every breeding program are the adults so show them off with gorgeous portraits that will not only demonstrate to potential puppy owners what their little nugget will look like when grown, but also convey their form, coloring and personality.

My breeder photography services includes an option for photographing your adult breeding dogs and delivering a set of five (5) images to include their full body along with personality filled headshots that you can use on your website and social media advertising to promote your program and attract new customers.

Pricing - What Your Adult Breeding Dog Portrait Session Includes

  • A 20-minute studio or on-location session for one dog (the latter being located within 10 miles of the studio - I have a number of parks that I can recommend)
  • I take multiple images of the dog with the specific intent to deliver the following images; 3 full body portraits (with at least 1 standing if possible), and 2 personality-filled headshots
  • Retouching is the same quality as my portrait work; leash removed, tear and mouth stains removed, eyes brightened and background enhanced, etc.
  • You’ll receive two (2) versions of each image file mentioned above: a retouched image file without watermark for use on your website, and a companion watermarked web-resolution version of the same image file appropriate for social media sharing
  • 295 (additional dogs can be added to a session for 100 each with the same deliverables as mentioned above)
