Our pets are never with us long enough. Every one of us has had that thought...I can't imagine my life without you.
Silver Sessions are for the dog with the gray muzzle who still lights up when you walk in. The cat who's been by your side through everything. The ones who may have recently received a difficult diagnosis but are still, in so many ways, completely themselves.
These sessions are crafted to honor your pet and the relationship you share; the expressions, the spots, the weight of a paw in your hand. Beautifully, and with the dignity they deserve. The images we create together will help carry you through what's ahead, and keep the details that tend to fade from memory alive for years to come.

"Tracy is an outstanding photographer! The depth of her knowledge is truly impressive. She goes the extra mile in accommodating the needs of a senior pet from scheduling the appointment to how she interacts with them during the photo shoot."

"Tracy at Penny Whistle Photography is a gem! Not only did she come on very short notice to create memories with our ailing dog, she managed all 3 of our not so well behaved babies beautifully and with a smile. Thanks to Tracy and her quick response, we have beautiful memories of our now deceased beloved family pet."

Hi Tracy,
I hope you remember us. You spent an entire morning at Lake Grapevine with us photographing my Doberman, Ghost. Crazy dog went right into the lake and I love the pics where you can tell he’s wet. We got a book and an enlargement and I wanted to tell you how happy I am that we did all that. I was a little worried about the cost but did it anyway, and now I treasure those pictures and that memory even more. I lost Ghost Nov 11 - he was in surgery trying to figure out what was wrong, and the answers weren’t good. We let him go during surgery. It’s been the hardest thing ever for me, and those pictures mean the world. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please tell your potential clients that it will be the best money they spend on their furry family members.
I suspect we will be back to you for some pics of a rescue we got back in May but that’s for another email.
Take care, and thanks again. Sheri B.
"Tracy was an absolute pleasure to work with and we are in love with how the photos came out of our senior dog Ginger. She truly is a pro. These photos will always bring us fond memories of such a wonderful day with our sweet girl."

I don't regret much in my life. I consider that every experience has made me who I am today. That being said, one thing that I do regret is that we never had professional portraits taken of our first dog, Penny. If you read about me, you know that the name Penny Whistle honors her.
This is the day we had to say goodbye to her. I was not yet a photographer but at least thought to have my husband take a few images with our point-and-shoot camera. This is the best image we have and of course I know what happened a few hours later.
I'm grateful for the various snapshots we have of her over the years, but what I wouldn't give to have a beautiful portrait of her that showed just how handsome a dog she was.
If your pet has progressed to the point where you wouldn't want to remember them this way, then I suggest you simply focus on enjoying the time you have left with them and be grateful for the pictures you have when they were healthy and don't try to force new photographs that may be painful to look at once their gone.
