It's week 11 of the Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project and the theme is "green". I'm guessing that's because St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner, but no leprechauns here, just bunnies. When I can, I like to photograph especially for the theme rather than pull images from my archives as it pushes me to try new things and stretch my creativity. I've photographed rabbits at the shelters plenty of times, but I've not yet styled a studio session for one. Until this week. When I photographed four rabbits!
I have been volunteering my time and camera at the City of Carrollton Animal Services and Adoption Center for over 4 years now. You'll find me there every Tuesday afternoon photographing whatever they need me to. When I saw these three cuties I asked if they might be willing to bring them to the studio for their adoption photos where we could do some fun setups to help them get adopted and I could incorporate GREEN for this week's theme. The answer was a resounding YES! So without further ado I'd like to introduce you to Max, Marie and Melody - oh and Dutch. You can read more about him below.

While Dutch already found his furever home, he came into the studio to provide moral support for his bunny brethren and was just too cute NOT to photograph!
