I got the call just before Christmas. A gentleman from Arlington, Texas wanted to surprise his girlfriend with photographs of her beloved Dachshund for Christmas. He would sneak the dog away from the house while she was at work and bring him to the studio. That's as far as plan had gotten, but I was hooked. "I'm in" I replied.

Once at the Carrollton studio we discussed various options of what to do with the images. He was hesitant to select an image for the wall because it might not be the one that she would have picked. I had the perfect solution. I suggested we go with a story print and I'd mock up a design that he could show her on Christmas Day along with placing the images in an online gallery from which she could select her favorites for the print. Voila! She had something to open up on Christmas Day and he was comfortable that she'd get the perfect images of her pup because she would have selected them herself!
