Happy Holidays

Here we are at week 51 of my personal photography project and the theme is "holidays". The holiday season is a time of giving as well as receiving and we just wrapped up a number of fundraising events benefiting some great local rescue groups. Read on to see some of the images from those events as well as a record-breaking day at Camp Bow Wow Coppell where the team photographed 150 dogs with Santa in one day; you read that right. One hundred and fifty dogs! Lastly, i share a few of my favorites images from this year's Christmas Mini Sessions.

Epic Animal Rescue

Thanks to Valley Ranch Pet Clinic in Irving, Texas for hosting this event benefitting Epic Animal Rescue. We raised almost $400 on a Wednesday afternoon! Epic Animal Rescue is a 501c3 registered 100% all-volunteer, foster-based rescue organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Coppell Humane Society

It was a banner day at the Coppell Farmers Market last Saturday; we had sunny skies and cooler temps so people (and pups) were in the Christmas mood! We photographed over 90 people, kids and dogs in 4 hours and raised almost $900 to help Coppell Humane Society's mission of serving homeless, needy companion animals in the Dallas-Ft Worth metroplex and surrounding communities. Camp Bow Wow Coppell

It wasn't for charity, but it is a labor of love because it's my family (of sorts), and that's photographing the dogs of Camp Bow Wow Coppell where I've been the dog trainer for the past 5 years. The list gets longer every year, and it takes a village (of very strong and patient people), but this year we blew the roof off things by photographing 150 dogs over the course of 7 hours. Whew!
