Have a Seat

It's week 50 of my personal photography project, the Pet Photography 52 weeks project and I'm still batting 1000 with never missing a post, even while on vacation! This week's topic is "in a chair". I regularly use chairs in my studio photography so I was able to turn up quite a bit of variety to cover this theme.

My Favorite Chair

This is my favorite chair. I find that I turn to it again and again. It photographs well, has an interesting shape and both dogs and cats are comfortable in it so it gets used a LOT! I call it my "scoop chair" and as you can see below, it's in constant rotation!

And in black...

I get so much use out of my white chair that I decided to add a black one to my studio as well; I've not gotten quite as much use out of it yet, but black and white Huey the Great Dane puppy was a natural for this monochromatic set up (and barely fit in it)!

And in red...

Daisy's dad is British and a football fan (proper European football, aka "soccer"), so it only made sense to incorporate a recent Marketplace find of this red leather "scoop" chair along with a flag and ball to show that she's on his side!

The Blue Chair

Austin's humans loved this blue chair so much that we designed nearly his entire studio session around it (and as you can see, he was clearly a super model!).

Chairs Everywhere!

I've put a lot of dogs, and cats, in all kinds of chairs over the years. I'll keep a chair around for a few months and then sell it and purchase another to keep things looking fresh.

Keep your seat and continue on through the blog circle starting with Pet Love Photography, serving Greater Cincinnati, the San Francisco Bay Area, and destinations nationwide and then continue clicking on the link at the bottom of each post for an around the world tour of fabulous pet photography.
