Silver Session with Faith

Jun 9, 2020 | By: Tracy Allard

This was such a beautiful end-of-life pet portrait session. Faith looked great and after ten straight days of rain in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex, we were blessed with sunshine on the morning of her session at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens in Grapevine, Texas. The tulips were in bloom and everything looked fantastic, including Faith and her human, Rachel.

Rachel knew her time with Faith was limited and wanted beautiful photographs of her cherished pup to keep her memory close. Scheduling the session soon after receiving the diagnosis was key in creating gorgeous images of Faith. We don't want to remember our pets as sickly, or not looking themselves, so timing is important. If you know the time you have left with your dog or cat is limited, don't delay. I prioritize Silver Sessions in my calendar and will make every effort to accommodate even the shortest of timelines.

Something for the Wall

Unable to select just one favorite image for the wall, Rachel chose a 12"x12" story print with four of her favorite images to hang in her home. Story prints are printed on 100% cotton fine art paper and are finished with museum quality, acid-free archival mountings to ensure against fade and yellowing and are completed with a classic black gallery frame. She also ordered an image block for her desk and a 20-page album with all her favorite images from the session.

Less than two weeks after her session, Rachel informed me that Faith had crossed the rainbow bridge and expressed relief that she didn't delay and knowing that she would always have these portraits.

Rachel - These came out perfectly! I can't even begin to tell you how much I adore them. They make me smile and bring joy to my heart every day I look at them and am reminded of my sweet girl. Thank you Tracy! You are incredible!

Debbie - These are just lovely and it brought a tear to my eyes! To ANYONE who is considering a senior session...don't wait!! You will be heartbroken if you miss the opportunity! I had a session with my two older dogs - I had wanted to do it and had been dragging my feet for the perfect time. I lost both my babies less than 18 months later. Not only do I have the most beautiful picture to look at every day but Tracy made the session itself a day of lovely memories I will cherish! In the words of Nike, JUST DO IT!!
